low sulphur hardeners for furan resin.It is low viscosity and is easy for sand mixing.It is pale yellow to brown transparent.

1.Selection of  hardener grade:The grade of hardener should be chosen according to the temperature of sand and the required curing speed.The higher the total acid content,the faster curing speed.

2.Selection of hardener addition ratio:The addition ratio of hardener is normally 30-70% of resin weight.

3.Curing speed control:Normal curing speed is 10-90 minutes according to casting size,15-40 minutes are usual stripping time.To increase curing speed,to enhance addition rate of resin(not exceeding 70%)or change faster hardener.To decrease curing speed ,to reduce addition rate(not under 30%) or change slower hardener.

4.Mixing Procedure:Mix sand with hardener using continuous mixer or batch mixer, then add resin and mix evenly.Use sand immediately after mixing evenly.
